Restaurant checklists and tasks that find their owner

Sturgeon turns opening lists, line checks, follow-ups, and punch exceptions into tasks your team picks up on their phones. The night ends with the manager's sign-off, and clock-ins are reconciled against the schedule before payroll sees them.

How it works

Shared lists, claimed by name

Pre-service lists such as FOH opening are shared by everyone on the shift. Anyone can take an item, it's ticked with the time it was done, and progress shows as it happens.

Tasks from people, Stu, and the system

Each person's tasks carry a due time, how long they take, and who filed them: a manager, Stu, or the system itself, such as a guest confirmation Ava handed off from the phone. High-priority work arrives as a notification.

Clock-ins checked before payroll

A nightly sweep reconciles punches from 7shifts or Sling against the schedule. A forgotten clock-out or a punch left open since Thursday becomes a fix assigned to the right person, while the pay period is still open.

The manager's sign-off

The night closes with a post-service sign-off: items done, tasks closed, nothing overdue, and the day marked ready for payroll.

Questions

Can staff use checklists on their phones?

Yes. Lists and tasks are built for the phone: staff claim items, tick them off, and get notified when high-priority work lands.

Does it work with 7shifts and Sling?

Yes. Shifts and punches come from 7shifts or Sling, and clock-ins are reconciled against the schedule every night.

Which plan includes checklists?
